Chapter 239 The Birds, the Beasts, and the Bat（鸟、兽和蝙蝠）

THE BIRDS waged war with the Beasts, and each were by turns the conquerors. —
鸟类与兽类发动了一场战争，双方轮番成为征服者。 —

A Bat, fearing the uncertain issues of the fight, always fought on the side which he felt was the strongest. —
一只蝙蝠害怕战斗的不确定结果，总是站在他觉得最强大的一方。 —

When peace was proclaimed, his deceitful conduct was apparent to both combatants. —
当和平宣布时，他的欺诈行为显而易见，被两个交战方谴责为背叛，他被赶出了白天的光明，从此隐藏在黑暗的地方，总是独自在夜晚飞行。 —

Therefore being condemned by each for his treachery, he was driven forth from the light of day, and henceforth concealed himself in dark hiding-places, flying always alone and at night.
