Chapter 215 The Goat and the Ass（山羊和驴）

A MAN once kept a Goat and an Ass. The Goat, envying the Ass on account of his greater abundance of food, said, “How shamefully you are treated: —
有一个人养着一只山羊和一头驴。这只山羊嫉妒那只驴，因为驴的食物更丰富，说道：“你被如此不公平地对待， —

at one time grinding in the mill, and at another carrying heavy burdens”; —
有一次，他在磨坊磨面粉，又有一次则搬运沉重的负担； —

and he further advised him to pretend to be epileptic and fall into a ditch and so obtain rest. —
他进一步建议他假装癫痫发作，掉进沟里，如此便能获得休息； —

The Ass listened to his words, and falling into a ditch, was very much bruised. —
驴子听从了他的话，掉进了沟里，非常受伤； —

His master, sending for a leech, asked his advice. —
主人找来一名医生，请他出诊； —

He bade him pour upon the wounds the lungs of a Goat. They at once killed the Goat, and so healed the Ass.
医生让他将一只山羊的肺倒在伤口上。他们立即杀了山羊，用山羊的肺治愈了驴子。
