Huawei Challenges Lenovo in China PC Market

Huawei has become a key rival to Lenovo in China’s PC market, surpassing HP and showing strong growth. In Q4 2025, China’s PC shipments reached 11.5 million units, flat year-on-year. Lenovo led with 4.6 million units and 40% share, while Huawei ranked second with 1.3 million units, 11% share, and 16% growth—faster than Lenovo’s 13%. Growth was driven by government and business demand, while consumer demand weakened. Meanwhile, tablets performed better, with Huawei and Apple forming a duopoly. Analysts predict China’s PC market will decline in 2026 due to reduced subsidies and rising costs.
