小米测试人形机器人用于汽车生产

Xiaomi has tested self-developed humanoid robots in its car manufacturing facility as the company moves toward using more automation. Founder, CEO, and chairman Lei Jun said the robots were able to operate autonomously for three continuous hours, completing assembly tasks without human help. In a video released by the company, the robots were seen picking up screw nuts and fastening them to specific positions on vehicle floors. The machines achieved a 90.2% success rate when installing parts on both sides of the car within Xiaomi’s fast production cycle of 76 seconds per vehicle. Lei said Xiaomi plans to deploy a large number of these humanoid robots in its factories within the next five years.
