Li Auto is reportedly preparing a major product reshuffle to improve competitiveness and reverse weak sales momentum. The company plans to streamline model variants in the RMB 300,000–400,000 price range to reduce internal cannibalization and boost efficiency. Its pure-electric SUV Li i8 will remain in production, while extended-range models will see clearer positioning. Li Auto may also launch a premium model priced above RMB 500,000 to strengthen its high-end image. The adjustment comes as Li Auto delivered about 360,000 vehicles in the first 11 months, only half of its original target, with sales declining for six consecutive months amid softer demand.
