科技与消费热潮推动中国亿万富豪激增
Mainland China’s billionaire wealth jumped 22% to US$1.77 trillion, driven by booming tech and rising asset prices, according to UBS. The number of billionaires rose to 470, second only to the US. BYD founder Wang Chuanfu and Mixue’s Zhang brothers were among the biggest gainers, helped by strong EV demand and Mixue’s successful Hong Kong IPO. Hong Kong’s billionaire population grew to 76, with total wealth reaching US$328 billion. UBS said Asia-Pacific will continue to benefit from AI and tech localisation, drawing strong interest in new-economy IPOs. The region also showed high volatility, with 24 mainland tycoons falling below the billionaire threshold. UBS expects heirs in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to inherit over US$400 billion in the next 15 years, while global self-made billionaire wealth hit US$15.8 trillion in 2025.
