Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has launched a bespoke customization service for its SU7 Ultra and YU7 Max electric vehicles, adding at least US$14,000 to the price. The move aims to attract wealthier Chinese consumers who might otherwise choose a Porsche or other premium European brands.The SU7 Ultra, priced at about US$74,000, resembles Porsche’s Taycan, but Xiaomi’s service offers unique options such as 24-carat gold badges and forged wheel hubs.
