中国为黄金周返程高峰做准备
China is bracing for a massive travel rush as millions return home at the end of the “golden week” holiday, one of the country’s busiest travel periods. The Ministry of Public Security warned of heavy traffic on Tuesday, especially in major city clusters such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, and Chengdu-Chongqing. Authorities reported no major accidents or congestion as of Monday night. The transport ministry said it is working closely with local governments to maintain safe and efficient travel, while urging regions affected by recent extreme weather to take preventive measures.
