Heavy rainfall in central China’s Hunan province triggered three river dyke breaches in less than 20 hours and forced the evacuations of thousands of people, as water reached “record levels”, state media reported.据官方媒体报道，中国中部湖南省的强降雨在不到20小时内引发了三次河堤决口，迫使数千人撤离，水位达到“创纪录水平”。

On Sunday evening, floodwaters breached two other dykes on the waterway – a tributary of the Xiang River – forcing more than 4,000 people to leave their homes, state media said.据官方媒体报道，周日晚上，洪水冲破了湘江支流水道上的另外两条堤坝，迫使4000多人离开家园。
