A Hong Kong court froze a $1.8 billion HSBC account amid a lawsuit by three extramarital children of late Wahaha founder Zong Qinghou against their half-sister, CEO Kelly Zong. They claim she broke a family agreement to set up $2.1 billion offshore trusts, and withdrew over $6 million. The freeze lasts until further orders, with “serious issues to try.” Wahaha said the lawsuits don’t affect operations; the account is key for the trusts.
