About half of its 120,000 employees have worked over three years. Former employees have a median tenure of 2.6 years and average 2.5 years. This suggests it’s attractive in China‘s tech industry with high turnover due to 996 culture. ByteDance dropped 996 in 2021 for a “1075” schedule.
