Huawei plans to invest US$11.7 billion over five years to strengthen autonomous driving, aiming to outspend all rivals combined. The company will boost computing power, a key factor in training and testing advanced driver assistance systems. In 2026 alone, it will allocate 18 billion yuan to R&D. Its Qiankun ADS autopilot platform has already logged over 10 billion km of driving data and is widely used across China. With partnerships spanning 25 car brands and over 50 models, Huawei has delivered 1.7 million vehicles equipped with its system, reinforcing its lead in smart driving technology.
