Hi, Meg. That’s a common problem between siblings (兄弟姐妹). Why don’t you make a plan so that you use the desk at different times? Or maybe you could study at the local library or the community center several times a week. Make sure you’ve got space for everything on your desk. If everything has its own place, it will be easier to keep the desk orderly (有条理的). It might even be enjoyable to do this together. If it’s easier to write instead of talking face to face, try sending a message to her to explain how awful you feel.
