The fundraising highlights how AI data centers have turned compute hardware into a major new asset class. It comes as Wall Street has been assembling even bigger AI chip financing packages, including a separate 60-billion-dollar deal tied to Broadcom and Anthropic. SpaceX, the rocket company founded by Elon Musk, has been rapidly expanding its Starlink and AI ambitions, and the chip order is expected to power its growing satellite and data-center operations.
